Precedent Analysis_Gallium Block

For the final of the Architectural Precedent, we analysed Gallium Block in METU Teknokent, as a group. My partner was Seçil Telyakar. We analysed the structure from generic form to specific form and as a result see that the generic mass we first perceive is dissolving into void in layers and at the end has an enveloping surface instead of mass.

 

National Architecture Awards

Last friday we went to 44th National Architecture Awards in Metu. After the awards there was a cocktail and exhibition of the projects entered the awards. The exhibition was really great for us to see both the projects and the presentations since we need inspiration for our projects. Especially the sketches and diagrams of the projects.
